Brindisi, exhibition hall of Forts St. James - 15 to March 25, 2008
Fifty-five shots in about 10 years. This exhibition illustrates the final period of the pontificate of John Paul II and the beginning until today, that of his successor Benedict XVI.
Pier Paolo Cito, Associated Press photographer, is credited permanently at the Pontifical Council for Social Communications (one of the Vatican office that deals with visual coverage within the Holy See) to follow the activities of the Holy Father, is all ' inside of the Vatican City, both in official visits to Italy and the world.
The objectives are used by supergrandangolari (14 mm) to super telephoto (1200 mm). The latter perspective, currently the most powerful in the world, produced in very few specimens, has been combined with a teleconverter and made possible the "jerky" quality of the recent dramatic appearance of John Paul II.
